      The average Processing Time (Time it takes for us to physically ship your order from the time you place it through our site) for this warehouse is 2-4 business days. Business days do not include weekends or Holidays. During November and December, please add 1 extra business day to this average.

    Shipping Policies:

    This Site offers shipping to destinations worldwide via United Parcel Service (UPS) and United States Postal Sevice (USPS). The shipping method used is based on the service selected by the customer during the checkout process. Incomplete or inaccurate delivery address details may result in failed or delayed deliveries by the carrier selected.

    Any items which offer 'FREE SHIPPING' will be shipped using the lowest cost shipping service applicable and may not include delivery confirmation numbers.
    • Items returned as undeliverable:
      If your shipment is returned or refused for any reason, a refund will be issued for the cost of the product minus a 20% restocking fee.

    • Items Damaged During Transit:
      This site will not be responsible for the receipt of damaged merchandise. Shipping Insurance is available to the customer at checkout, and if selected, we will process the insurance claim as the need arises at no extra charge to the consumer. The following chart shows which delivery methods offer or include insurance as part of their cost:

      It is vital that the consumer notify us of the damaged merchandise within 72 hours of delivery.

    • Handling Fees:
      All domestic shipments have a $1.25 Handling fee added to postage costs and are included in the S/H costs provided at checkout.
      All Internatonal Shipments have a $3.00 handling fee added to postage costs and are included in the S/H costs provided at checkout.
      Postage costs are calculated from the origin zip code of 75115.

    • Further shipping restrictions may apply for some delivery areas that are not mentioned here. Please refer to www.ups.com and www.usps.com for further details.

    Warranty:

    It works or they fix it for free!

    Here is the Zippo repair policy (taken from the most recent Zippo Lighter Collector's Guide).

    Please note the finish of the lighter is NOT guaranteed.

    If your Zippo lighter needs to be fixed, the case will be repaired and a new insert (the inside lighting mechanism) will be fitted into the lighter case. The finish of the lighter is not guaranteed.

    To preserve the collectibility of your vintage Zippo windproof lighter, your original insert will be returned to you in the same condition as received.

  • Due to Postal regulations, Zippo™ no longer sends out shipping bags.

    We suggest you send your lighter via an insured and trackable shipping method. For safety, please remove the flint from the lighter and allow the fuel to evaporate for two to three days before returning. Your lighter will be repaired and reshipped at our expense, however, you are responsible for the costs of getting the lighter to the repair center.

  • Special Notes:
    1.) For a few days prior to sending your lighter please remove the inner mechanism from the outer case. This will allow for any residual fluid to evaporate. If your lighter is valuable or sentimental, you might want to insure it.

    2.) Please write your name and address where you want the lighter returned both on the outside of the envelope (or mailing bag) AS WELL AS on a piece of paper together inside with the lighter. I suggest it be sent in a bubble envelope, with the lighter first wrapped in newspaper, to protect it during shipping.

    Return Requirements:
    • The Costs To Return A Package is the responsibility of the customer. The only exception to this is if the wrong items were shipped. In this case, customer will pay postage costs using the shipping method prescribed in the Return Authorization and receive these costs back in the form of a refund upon us receiving the return.

    • Unauthorized Returns may be refused, or be accepted and have 20% deducted from the refund amount for the cost of the product. (Original shipping fees are non-refundable) Because unauthorized returns do not have the Return Authorization Number included, extra time is required to track down the original order details, determine the reason the item was returned, etc.

    • Return Requests placed for the reason of items being received damaged, can only be accepted if the order was placed using an insured delivery method. In this case, an insurance claim will be processed and returning of the item may not be necessary.

    • Unless covered under an additional Manufacturers warranty, all merchandise sold from this warehouse will be eligible for return for the amount of time as specified in the item's description. Those products that list "Initial Satisfaction" have a 10 Day time limit in which you may request to return merchandise. All time limits are enforced from the date of delivery.

    • Return Authorization Requests Received within 72 Hours of delivery (Regardless of the reason for wanting to return) will not be subject to any restocking or administration fees as long as the merchandise is returned in the same conditioned in which it was received.

    Payment Policy:

    This site accepts the following Payment Methods under the following conditions:
      VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover The billing address provided at checkout must match the address listed with the credit card issuer. Credit Card Holders with a Non-USA billing address must submit a Credit Card Authorization Form in order to have the order processed for shipment.
      PayPal PayPal account must be US-Verified or Non-US Verified (Orders from Non verified PayPal accounts will be refunded and cancelled)
      Money Order All money orders must be in US Funds. Inventory will not be reserved for orders in which payment is via Money Order, so delays in receiving your payment may result in incomplete shipments and partial refunds via Store Credit. Our system will email you with payee and mailing details upon completing checkout.
      Bank Transfer Bank Transfers are available for purchases exceeding $2500 and will have a wire fee of $25 added to the order total. (Email us for ordering instructions prior to purchase if using this payment method)

      Question: Do We Drop Ship?
      Answer: Absolutely. If you need information on what dropshipping is or how to do it, please visit our Dropshipping Guide.

      Question: How Long Will It Take You To Ship My Order?
      Answer: Generally orders ship within 2-4 business days from the time you place them. Occasionally we experience very heavy order volume (Usually during the Holiday Season) which may add an extra day to the processing time. (Business Days do not include Weekends or Holidays. We spend these days with our family and the shipping providers are also closed)

      Question: Can I Pick Up My Order?
      Answer: No. This website does not offer pick-up services.

      Question: Why Was I Charged Sales Tax?
      Answer: If the delivery destination is in the state of Texas, we are required to charge you 8.25% Sales tax unless you fax us your "Resale Certificate" (for the state of Texas) prior to placing your order. You can fax this form to

      Question: Do You Give Larger Discounts For "Really Big" Orders?
      Answer: We often find our definition of "Really Big" and the customer's definition to be different. In general, we offer some additional discounts for purchases of $1000 or more.

      Question: Do You Have A CSV Download So I can Add Your Products To My Site?
      Answer: No, we do not offer this service through our public site. Enterprise members are given access to CSV Product Downloads and Image Downloads for all websites through their Members Only Dropship site access (For more details, CLICK HERE). In the past when we tried to offer CSV files to our customers, we had several who tried to take advantage of it and mass produce websites that were very substandard. Because we offer the same product line, it reflected poorly on us as well. So sorry, but no CSV downloads are available to the public.

    Engraving:

    When purchasing engraving services for your Zippo Lighter, be sure to include the following:

    1.) If purchasing more than 1 zippo lighter, state which lighter is to be engraved.
    2.) Be sure to select the font style to be used (See chart below)
    3.) Be sure to note desired location of engraving.
    4.) Double check text to be engraved prior to finalizing order

    Properly engraved lighters returned as 'undeliverable' or 'refused' will have a 50% "non-resellable fee" deducted from refund/credit.
